Michael L. Mastrogiovanni – Michael was born in Connecticut and moved here to Florida with his family when he was four years old. In 1994 he opened the first of two assisted living facilities, which he operated until 2004. Michael attended St. Petersburg Junior College, graduating with honors in 2000, The University of South Florida graduating Cum Laude in 2002, and received his law degree from Stetson University College of Law, gradating in December 2004.
Volunteering is not uncommon for Michael, as he has volunteered as an arbitrator for the juvenile arbitration program in Pinellas County, as a hearing officer for teen court held weekly at the Pinellas County Criminal Justice Center, and as a mediator in small claims court in Pinellas County through a mediation program at Stetson University College of Law.
Michael interned for the Pinellas County State Attorney’s Office in 2003 and was hired upon graduation in January 2004. Through a certification by the Florida Supreme Court, he worked as a Prosecutor from January 2004 until joining our firm in December of 2004.
Michael has lived in Pinellas County for over 30 years, is married and has two daughters.
